Star Trek: Discoveryand Rentactor Anthony Rapp has publicly accused House of Cardsactor Kevin Spacey of making what Rapp alleges is a sexual advance toward him as a teenager, reports BuzzFeed.

According to the interview, Rapp, 14 at the time, and Spacey, 26, first became acquainted while Rapp was performing Precious Sonson Broadway in 1986. Spacey was performing in a revival of Long Day's Journey Into Night, alongside Jack Lemmon.

BuzzFeed reports that Spacey "invited Rapp over to his apartment for a party, and, at the end of the night, picked Rapp up, placed him on his bed, and climbed on top of him, making a sexual advance."

“He picked me up like a groom picks up the bride over the threshold," Rapp told the publisher. "But I don't, like, squirm away initially, because I'm like, 'What's going on?' And then he lays down on top of me. He was trying to seduce me."

In the interview, Rapp also explained that the recent accusations of sexual assault and harassment against disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein prompted him to speak up.

"And not to simply air a grievance, but to try to shine another light on the decades of behavior that have been allowed to continue because many people, including myself, being silent," he told BuzzFeed.

At the time of writing, Spacey's team has not yet made public comment.
